Since our vision is to automate this all, we seek to minimise our face-to-face interaction and thus, like any relationship, it is important to set out the terms of our engagement clearly.

​The domain name ‘legex.in’, all its subdomains and extensions are owned and operated by Legexhub Technology Private Limited by shares, incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013. This terms of service policy applies to your use of Legex’s website, application, products and services. We recognise the importance of maintaining the relationship and hence thereby, define the rules and conditions of our engagement with users.

​This document is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3 (1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries guidelines) Rules, 2011 that require publishing the rules and regulations, privacy policy and Terms of Use for access or usage of legex.in, all its subdomains and extensions linked.

For the purpose of this Policy policy, wherever the context so requires,

  1. The term ‘You’ and ‘User’ shall mean any legal person or entity accessing or using the services provided on this Website, who is competent to enter into binding contracts, as per the provisions of the Indian Contract Act, 1872;
  2. The terms ‘We’, ‘Us’ and ‘Our’ shall mean the Website and/or the Company, as the context so requires.
  3. The terms ‘Party’ and ‘Parties’ shall respectively be used to refer to the User and the Company individually and collectively, as the context so requires.

The company reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. It is hereby stated:

Legex strives to provide the services at the most affordable and accessible costs possible while maintaining its integrity and innovations for a better and more accessible legal sector.

​Still, with the times and changing requirements in the legal sector, we have to revise our pricing and cost structure. Legex reserves the right to update the prices of services and products as deemed fit. The company is also not obliged to intimate the user of any price change unless the user is affected in the billing cycle, which is applicable only for the retention and subscription services. The decision of Finance Head of the Legex will be final in any conflicting situation with any user.

The company reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. The company shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

Products or Services

While Legex envisions to provide legal services to its users and prospective users in every medium and ways it seems efficient, certain products or services may be available exclusively, online or offline, through our offerings or in-house. These products and services are subjected to be governed according to our Terms of Service, Privacy policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy.

​We’ve made every effort to include and provide every information needed to avail the service as clear and defined as possible. However, we cannot guarantee that the service will be made available in the same way described. The user is also informed that the steps and process might differ from the one mentioned on the website.

Severability

In the event that any provisions of these Terms are unlawful, void, or enforceable in the eyes of law, such provisions shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions. In case any Terms of service are not covered in this Terms of service but are necessary to be called upon in matters of conflict with any user, the decision of the Executive Committee will be final in the concerning matter unless instructed otherwise by the competent court.

Termination

As for the terms of usage of this website,

Legex aims and strive hard to deliver its services to every single user it intends to and receives in its complete capacity. However, in its sole discretion, if in the sole discretion of Legex the user fail, or Legex suspect that the user has failed to comply with any terms or provisions of these Terms of Service, Legex may terminate this agreement at any time without notice and the user will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of the termination and or deny you access/ permission to our services, or any part thereof.

​The obligations and liabilities of the users incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes.

​These Terms of Service are effective unless and until terminated by either the company or the user. Entire Agreement

Legex commits to the highest standards of commitment when it comes to rightful service and customer satisfaction and tries that no obstruction arises in the matters of customer satisfaction. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

It is expressly agreed to by the Parties hereto that the formation, interpretation and performance of this Policy and any disputes arising herefrom will be resolved through a two-step Alternate Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) mechanism. It is further agreed to by the Parties that the contents of this Section shall survive even after the termination or expiry of the Policy and/or Terms.

Mediation: In case of any dispute between the parties, the Parties will attempt to resolve the same amicably amongst themselves, to the mutual satisfaction of both Parties. In the event that the Parties are unable to reach such an amicable solution within thirty (30) days of one Party communicating the existence of a dispute to the other Party, the dispute will be resolved by arbitration, as detailed hereinbelow.

Arbitration: In the event that the Parties are unable to amicably resolve a dispute by mediation, said dispute will be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator to be appointed by the Company, and the award passed by such sole arbitrator will be valid and binding on both Parties. The Parties shall bear their own costs for the proceedings, although the sole arbitrator may, in his/her sole discretion, direct either Party to bear the entire cost of the proceedings. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the seat of Arbitration shall be the city of Delhi under the jurisdiction of Delhi, India.

​The Parties expressly agree that the Terms, Policy and any other agreements entered into between the Parties are governed by the laws, rules and regulations of India, and that the Courts at Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising between the Parties.

Termination

The user can review the most recent version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. The company retains the sole and exclusive rights to amend or modify the Policy and the aforementioned terms without any prior permission or intimation to the user and the user expressly agrees that any such modifications and updates shall come into effect immediately. The user is required to review it frequently to avoid any conflict of interest.
